Gary Reiss of SUNRx Brings Expertise to BridgeGate’s Advisory Board for Healthcare


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – February 13, 2009 – BridgeGate International today announced that long-time healthcare technology expert Gary Reiss will be joining the company’s healthcare board of advisors.

Gary Reiss currently serves as the chief operating officer of SUNRx, Inc., a provider of automated solutions for federally qualified health centers and disproportionate share hospitals for the administration of government 340B discount drug pricing programs.   In this capacity he oversees daily operations, including product development.

Mr. Reiss has also held the chief operating officer position at several private and public health and medical information management companies during the past 18 years. He helped lead I‐trax, Inc. (DMX), a technology driven population health Management Company from 1999 to 2004.  In 1998 Gary served as the Chief Operating Officer of EduNeering, Inc., an educational technology company, where his responsibilities included positioning EduNeering as a web provider and portal.

From 1995 to 1998, Gary served as the Chief Operating Officer of Allscripts, Inc. (MDRX), a one billion dollar health care information and implementation publicly traded company, where he was responsible for all operations and implementations. And from 1992 to 1995, Gary was an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Physician Dispensing Systems, a company he founded and which was later acquired by Allscripts, Inc.
